Environment and Urban Living Desk

The 21st century, in which rapid changes are experienced in the environment and urban life, also necessitates an increase in academic studies. Especially unplanned urbanization, industrialization efforts and today’s consumption practices not only disrupt the texture of existing cities, but also cause ecological problems. Based on this point of view, the main purpose of the “Environment and Urban Living” desk, which we established within the International Strategic Research Application Center, is to publish on environmental and urban issues, and to produce solutions to problems by organizing events with cooperation to be developed starting from the local level. In this context, it is aimed to carry out studies in a wide range such as environmental degradation, climate change, food safety, urbanization and urban fabric, urban planning.
